didn't come with  instructions. So we made some.

Free resources, practical tools, and a community that understands the chaos.

Because managing someone else's medical circus shouldn't mean losing your own mind.

Caregiving

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

Welcome to the Medical Circus.

One minute you're living your life. The next, you're managing medications, decoding medical jargon, fighting insurance companies, and Googling things you never wanted to know existed.

And somehow, you're supposed to know what you're doing.

Yeah. Good luck with that.

That's why The Feral Caregiver exists.

Free tools to organize the chaos. Resources to help you find actual support. And a community of people who understand that sometimes the only appropriate response is wildly inappropriate humor.

We're not here to tell you to stay positive.

We're here to help you get shit done.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

The Feral

Caregiver Hub

Appointment prep.

Medication tracking.

Hospital discharge planning.

Medical records.

Insurance headaches.

Emergency information.

And all the other things nobody warned you would

become your responsibility.

We've built practical tools to help you organize the mess, ask better questions, and find the support you need.

No subscriptions. No paywalls. Just free resources built by a caregiver who got tired of figuring everything out the hard way.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

Because Nobody Has Time for 47 Open Browser Tabs.

Financial assistance. Transportation. Prescription support. Cancer-specific organizations. Clinical trials. Caregiver support.

The help is out there. Finding it shouldn't require a second full-time job.

The Feral Resource Finder is a free, searchable directory that helps you find organizations, programs, and support based on what you actually need.

No endless Googling. No vague advice to

"just ask for help."

Real resources. One place to start.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

The Feral Truth

You can love someone with your entire heart and still want to run away to a hotel where nobody knows your name.

You can be grateful for the doctors and still question whether anyone actually read the chart.

You can have a completely inappropriate sense of humor and still be an excellent caregiver.

And you can be exhausted, frustrated, overwhelmed, and occasionally one minor inconvenience away from becoming a national news story.

Welcome to caregiving. It's not always pretty. But at least we can laugh about some of it.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

You Found Your People. Sorry About the Circumstances.

Caregiving can be lonely. Especially when your social life revolves around medical appointments and your most frequent contacts are doctors' offices and pharmacies.

Welcome to The Feral Caregiver Club.

A free community for caregivers who love their people, hate the circumstances, and occasionally need to say the things we're not supposed to say out loud.

Come ask questions. Share your wins. Vent about the chaos. Laugh at the absurdity. Or just lurk until you're ready.

No toxic positivity. No judgment. No requirement to have your life together.

Just caregivers who get it.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a place to start.

Hi!

I'm Kari Monty

In 2023, cancer decided to become a full-time member of my family.

My husband. My mom. My dad.

And somehow, I became the person keeping track of appointments, medications, medical records, insurance battles, and approximately a million things nobody warned me about.

I didn't set out to build a caregiver resource website. I was just trying to keep my own head above water.

But the more I learned, the more I realized how many of us are out here trying to figure out the same things.

So I started building the resources I wish someone had handed me.

And then I decided to share them. For free.

Because caregiving is hard enough without having to reinvent the damn wheel.

Welcome to The Feral Caregiver.
